Subject: Re. Ellerlslie Athletics Sausage sizzle
I'm on the committee of Ellerslie Athletics club, details here.
We run children's athletics training at Mt Smart Stadium on Monday evenings throughout the summer from 12 October - 22 March, from 5:50 - 7:30pm.
It's a great evening out for families, but we understand it's a tricky time of day, especially for the little ones, so we like to offer a sausage sizzle to help the energy levels – with proceeds going back to the club.
Our committee member in charge of the bbq last year has left, so we have a gap to fill.
Would anyone on your team be interested in taking charge of the ordering/collecting and cooking of approx. 200 sausages each week? All costs covered by the club, volunteer labour please. We provide all the gear.
Icing on the cake would be if they had access to a deep freezer to store any extras week on week, but this is not essential.
If you could please circulate this to your peers, we'd very much appreciate it. Any q's, just ask.
