Trees for Survival Planting Day – you’re invited! Grab your gumboots and a spade and come join your allocated school and help the school kids plant their native plants they have grown over the past year. Its an inter-generational fun day and you will be helping in a small way, to restore Aotearoa-New Zealand’s native environment.

Format for the day
Meet and greet. Usually 9.15, but depends on school arrival time
Lunch WILL NOT be provided as a public land planting.
What to bring
Practical comfortable clothing – showerproof jacket / hat / garden gloves / boots/footwear that have a good grip and are okay to get quite muddy
Sunblock - let's be optimistic!
BYO favourite spade if you have one
Change of dry clothes / bag for muddy gear
Bottle of water and a snack to keep your energy up!
