Kia ora Lynda, Sharyn and Susan,
I’ve been on site today to the "1st site" to review the site preparation work with the contractor and I’m sorry to say that the works is underway but will not be completed adequately by the 7th July.
Lynda - as outlined in your email and from our discussions I think we are going to have to postpone to our weather date of the 11th August.
Sharyn I’m sorry that this changes the planned day for you so late in Term 2.
We will however, get a far better outcome in terms of the contractor spending more time on getting the site ready and removing pest plant species. As you know this is contractor work we are relying on others to resource so I’ve tried to move it along as fast as I can without being ungrateful :)
In terms of site 1, because it is a site with a high water content some carex grass and umbrella sedge species would also be a good addition.
Are any of these species being grown at the school or is this something that would need to be sourced elsewhere?
if you need to discuss this with me please feel free to get in contact.
Kind regards
Ben Sheeran
