President Allan welcomed 29 members and two guests to our Breakfast Meeting last week February 28th. Our Snap Chat this morning was delivered by Club Member Steel Gibson who briefed all members on the RYLA Story as we prepare to commence interviewing candidates for the 2019 Awards. Steele shared with us his thoughts on how it is getting tougher to secure the number of quality candidates required, without lowering the standards set over many years and many very successful Awards. Tom Street followed up supporting what Steele had said and provided us all with details on this years selection process for St Johns Rotary nominations. Our guest speaker today was Josephine Stonyer and as President Allan has stated above, if you ever wanted to see an example of how well our sponsorship dollars can work - this was the presentation to see!! Apart from attending our meeting and thanking us for our financial support, which went towards her being selected for the "Fiji Village Project", Josephine shared with us details of how successful the project was, how much she learned, how lucky we are and how much more support the Fijian medical services need. Thank you Josephine for your wonderful presentation and our Club's best wishes are with you as you complete your degree and for your future career.
